I pulled in thinking parking would be quick and easy, but it ended up being the most frustrating part of the visit. I drove around for a while, checking every row and hoping someone would leave, but there just didn’t seem to be any convenient spots available. By the time I finally parked, I was already annoyed before I even got inside.

I was a little nervous the boat ride might be rough, but from my experience it was surprisingly smooth and easy to enjoy. Even when we got a bit farther out, it never felt too bumpy—just a few little bumps here and there. I was able to relax the whole time and take it all in. Overall, it was a really nice experience and I’d definitely go again.

Check-in was easy overall. The line was moving kind of slowly at first, which made me think we might be cutting it close, but then it picked up and everything was fine. The staff seemed to know exactly what they were doing, so once we got to the counter it was painless. I do think the signs could be clearer because there was a moment where we were like, wait, are we in the right place? But anyway, we got sorted without much hassle and still boarded on time.

The tour itself was okay, but the seating really wasn’t great. The seats were hard, there wasn’t much room, and my back started hurting about halfway through. It also had this kind of “no real person there” feeling, like everything was just going through the motions. I probably wouldn’t book again unless they improve the seating.

The whole thing was okay at first, but trying to cancel was such a headache. There really wasn’t any flexibility, which felt unreasonable. I get that policies exist, but come on, it was still annoying.

I was disappointed with the dolphin part of the tour. We only saw what looked like one quick fin way off in the distance, and that was about it. The staff were friendly, so no complaints there, but most of the trip felt like we were just sitting around hoping something would show up. I completely understand dolphins are wild animals and you can’t guarantee anything, but it seems fair to be more upfront that sightings might be really minimal.

I did get some really nice photos and the views were lovely. The boat filled up quickly, which made the timing a bit tricky, though it wasn’t a huge deal and we still had a good time.

It was so packed I felt like I was trapped in a human traffic jam the entire time. I could barely move without bumping into someone, and it made the whole experience way more stressful than fun.

I wouldn’t recommend this one. The tour itself might’ve been fine, but the captain really ruined the experience for us. He seemed irritated anytime someone asked a question, and it made the whole trip feel uncomfortable and awkward. Maybe he was just having an off day, but for what we paid, I expected at least basic politeness. Save your time and look for another tour...

The bathroom situation was technically okay, but it wasn’t very clear once I was onboard. I found myself second-guessing where to go or what to expect, which made me feel a bit less confident in how organized everything was.

I reached out to Charleston Harbor Tours because I had a question about my booking, i’m still confused about what happened ?? I sent an email, waited a few days, then tried calling, but never got an actual response from anyone.

The tour might be totally fine, but the customer service side was frustrating. If you need help before your trip, I wouldn’t count on getting it quickly. I ended up feeling ignored and probably wouldn’t book with them again

we booked this thinking it would be an easy, low-stress family outing, but it didn’t feel very kid friendly.

there wasn’t much help getting settled, and the seating felt tight with the kids. my youngest got bored quickly, and it seemed like people weren’t too thrilled anytime the kids needed to move around a little.
it might be totally fine for adults, but i wouldn’t choose it again for a family day out. it just felt like families with kids weren’t really kept in mind.

I booked it thinking we’d get a clearer look at the main landmarks, but some of them were far away and hard to make out. A few were easy to spot, but others felt like we were just being told they were there somewhere in the distance. I ended up mentioning it to the staff afterward because it didn’t really match what I was expecting from the description. Not a terrible trip, just kind of average and not something I’d rush to recommend if seeing the landmarks clearly is your main reason for going.

I think the accessibility is okay, but it was feels like it could be better. I didn’t have a terrible time using it, but some parts was a little harder than they need to be.
